Blue Vector's Senior Vice President and Managing Director Honored for Extraordinary Contribution in Entrepreneurship
Sridhar Ranganathan Honored by South Indian Educational Society

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Blue Vector Systems today announced that Sridhar Ranganathan, the
company's senior vice president of engineering and client services and
managing director of Blue Vector India, has been honored for his
extraordinary contribution in entrepreneurship from the South Indian
Education Society (SIES).
Ranganathan received the award -- recognizing the contributions of
individuals in their various fields of endeavor -- in Mumbai during
the SIES College's 75th anniversary. Dr. Abdul Kalam, the former
president of India, presented the award to Ranganathan. Pioneered in
1932, the South Indian Education Society (SIES) is one of the oldest
and premier educational societies in Mumbai with over 18,000 of the
country's top students enrolled in a various SIES institutions,
including an elite high school along with an array of arts, sciences,
and commerce colleges.

Ranganathan serves as the company's senior vice president of
engineering and client services and managing director of Blue Vector

2006. A former Yahoo! executive, he headed up Yahoo! Everywhere and
also served as chief operating officer for Yahoo! Software Development
Center in Bangalore. Ranganathan started his career as a software
engineer at Xerox Corporation, before joining Pure Software (later
becoming Rational Software and then IBM). He holds a degree in
Computer Science from Bombay University, an MS in Computer Science
from Villanova University, and an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School
of Business.
