BioImagene Announces Board Expansion and Appoints Biotechnology Veteran G Steven Burrill as Chairman

CUPERTINO, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
BioImagene, the leading provider of innovative and affordable

research, today announced the appointment of G Steven Burrill as
chairman of the board.

   The company also announced the appointment of two new board
members. The new members include Mr. Taras Silecky of Ascension Health
Ventures and Dr. Ajit Singh, CEO of the Image and Knowledge Management
business of Siemens Healthcare who will join as an independent board
member.

   These announcements come at the heels of the recent closing of a
$26 million series D financing round led by Burrill & Company,
Ascension Health Ventures, National Healthcare Services as well as
existing investors Artiman Ventures and ICCP Ventures
