Larry Blaney Joins Wireless Ronin Technologies as Senior Vice President of
Business Development

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 27, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wireless Ronin Technologies, Inc.
(Nasdaq:RNIN), a Minneapolis-based worldwide digital signage provider, today
announced that Larry Blaney has been named Senior VP of Business Development.

organizing business sales forces and developing growth strategies will help Mr.
Blaney create further momentum in his new position with Wireless Ronin.

Mr. Blaney is a seasoned executive with global experience building high
performance sales and marketing organizations with supportive manufacturing
infrastructure. Prior to joining Wireless Ronin, Mr. Blaney formed a startup
systems integration company in 1990, which was eventually sold in 1998 to
Richardson Electronics, a global custom solutions company. Mr. Blaney was
promoted to Executive Vice President for Richardson Electronics, where he was
the General Manager of the Display and Systems Division with direct P&L
responsibility. During his tenure at Richardson, he helped realign the sales
force and product management team from a component distribution focus into a
solutions, private label, and project-based sales team. Since 1998 when he
joined Richardson Electronics the Display Division saw a growth in sales from
$30 million to $95 million in 2006.
