Gulf Ethanol Engages Lab to Test Production

HOUSTON, TX, Aug 27 (MARKET WIRE) --
Gulf Ethanol Corporation (PINKSHEETS: GFET) announced today that it has
engaged Microbac Laboratories to perform analytical testing on its
preprocessed feedstock powders. Microbac has over fifteen years'
experience in analyzing a wide range of biomass products. They work
directly with national Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL) and various
private entities to characterize and analyze biomass materials.

Initial product samples will be provided to the lab this week.

"In order to establish the credibility of our cellulosic pre-processing
technology, we want to engage a nationally recognized laboratory to
confirm the performance characteristics of our products," explained Bill
