Delta Customers Affected by Hurricane Gustav May Change Travel Plans Without
Penalties or Fees Through Sept. 1
ATLANTA, Aug. 27, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) customers
booked on flights to, from or through select Caribbean countries may make
adjustments to their travel schedule without penalty or fees due to flooding and
high winds expected from Hurricane Gustav.
Customers who purchased tickets by Aug. 26, 2008 and are scheduled to travel
Aug. 26-Sept. 1, to, from or through the following countries on Delta, Delta
Connection(r) or Delta-coded flights may make a one-time change without penalty
or additional fees if tickets are changed by Sept. 1, 2008.
* Dominican Republic
* Grand Cayman
* Jamaica
Travel must begin on or before Sept. 1, 2008. Changes to origin and destination
may result in a fare increase. Any fare difference between the original ticket
and the new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking.
Customers whose flights are canceled may request refunds. All customers are
encouraged to visit delta.com/travelupdates for the latest news on Hurricane
Gustav.
