BIELEFELD, Germany, August 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Schuco International KG
will soon be sponsoring German golf pro Martin Kaymer. The motto of the

successful future with Energy2". (Photo:

"What brings us together is the professional approach we both take to
what we do", states Dirk U. Hindrichs, President and CEO of Schuco,
explaining his company's new relationship with the two-time winner of the
European Tour. Hindrichs also notes that Schuco's corporate credo, "Energy2 -
saving energy and generating energy", applies equally well to the world of
golf, creating additional common ground.
What might seem to be an unusual partnership at first glance actually
shows that golf and business have a great deal in common: Perfection and
precision are vital not just in golf, but also in the development of windows,
facades, and solar technology. But even the seemingly contradictory
relationship between love of nature on the one hand and modern technology on
the other is reflected in both golf and the advanced components made by
Schuco. The sport combines an intensive experience of nature with the highest
standards of technology and precision. By the same token, Schuco products
blend innovative technology and energy-efficient solutions in harmony with
nature.
"Striving for the highest standards of professionalism and a strong
commitment to climate protection are both things that matter to me a lot. In
Schuco, I've found a partner with the same goals that I have. That's why I'm
so glad to be working together with them", declares Martin Kaymer. Dirk U.
Hindrichs, too, sees many parallels between the golf pro and Schuco. He takes
a bullish view of future cooperation between the two: "This is definitely a
win-win situation where everybody stands to benefit, including the customers.
Our corporate philosophy of "Energy2 - saving energy and generating energy"
represents a whole in one for all of us", insists Hindrichs.
Martin Kaymer, born in1984 in Dusseldorf, is Germany's youngest ever
winner of a European Tour tournament. After taking second place in the Dubai
Desert Classic, Kaymer ranked 21 in the World Golf Ranking, and was awarded
the title of European Tour Golfer of the Month for January 2008. In June of
this year, Kaymer became the first German and youngest player ever to win the
BMW International Open.
