Eastern Pennsylvania's Best Chef to Be Named At Allentown Fair

Agriculture Secretary Dennis Wolff will announce the winner of the PA
Preferred Best Chef of Pennsylvania Eastern Region contest immediately
following the final competition to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28,
in the Farmerama Theater at the Great Allentown Fair.

At 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, eight local chefs from the area's top
restaurants will participate in a competition similar to the Food Network's
"Iron Chef."  At 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, four chefs advancing from
Wednesday's competition will compete in the semi-final competition.  Two
winners from the semi-finals will go head-to-head in the final competition at
6:30 p.m. on Aug. 28.
