'TravelGanza!'

FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Omega World Travel in

inaugural travel and community showcase - the 'TravelGanza!' The event is
open to the public and will be held Sept. 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the
Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at the National Harbor. Over 100
exhibitors will be attending 'TravelGanza!' representing airlines, cruise
lines, hotels, embassies, tour companies as well as local attractions.
In 1972, Omega opened its first travel agency in Fredericksburg, Va.
Since then, the company has grown to be the largest woman-owned business in
the Washington area with offices across the U.S. and in key parts of the
world.
"We have never forgotten that this is Omega's hometown; this is where our
story began," said Gloria Bohan, president and CEO of Omega. "We are very
proud to be a part of this community and excited to present this one of a kind
travel show - a celebration of journeys near and far, the Washington area, the
community, its people, its passion and new opportunities for travel."
Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with travel experts, learn
about new trends in travel, explore new destinations or book the trip of a
lifetime right on the spot. Festivities will include plenty of giveaways,
entertainment and a silent auction benefiting Fisher House, an organization
that provides comfort homes for families of wounded soldiers receiving medical
treatment. Fred Grandy of "The Love Boat" fame and "Grandy & Andy Morning
Show" will make a guest appearance at the show.
"'TravelGanza!' will truly have something for everyone," said Bohan.
"Whether your interest is in cruising, safaris, golfing or just a day's
adventure, Omega will be happy to show you all the possibilities of making
that dream vacation finally become a reality."
Water taxies will be running between the National Harbor, Mt. Vernon,
Georgetown, and Old Town Alexandria. Free shuttle bus from King Street Metro
in Alexandria will run on a first come first serve basis courtesy of Sunny's
Limousine. Parking will be available at the National Harbor.
