Three More WMUs Sell Out of Antlerless Deer Licenses

HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Wildlife Management Units
(WMU) 3A, 4A and 4C have exhausted their entire antlerless deer license
allocations, announced Pennsylvania Game Commission Executive Director Carl G.
Roe.  As previously announced, antlerless deer license allocations for WMUs
1B, 2E, 2F, 2G, 3C, 4B and 4D have been sold out.

WMU 3A covers portions of Bradford, McKean, Potter and Tioga counties.  WMU 4A
is comprised of parts of Bedford, Blair, Franklin, Fulton and Huntingdon
counties.  WMU 4C includes portions of Berks, Carbon, Columbia, Dauphin,
Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne and Schuylkill counties.

Of the 849,000 antlerless licenses originally allocated, agency employees have
distributed to county treasurers 614,758 applications.  Following is a listing
of the remaining Wildlife Management Units antlerless deer licenses as of
today (along with the initial allocation for each WMU): WMU 1A, 10,634
(42,000); WMU 2A, 33,726 (55,000); WMU 2B, 60,280 (68,000); WMU 2C, 3,451
(49,000); WMU 2D, 4,781 (56,000); WMU 3B, 14,378 (43,000); WMU 3D, 8,169
(37,000); WMU 4E, 6,589 (30,000); WMU 5A, 5,109 (19,000); WMU 5B, 16,674
(51,000); WMU 5C, 53,459 (92,000); and WMU 5D, 17,012 (22,000).
