NASDAQ OMX Introduces the Wilder Global Energy Efficient Transport Index

NEW YORK, Aug. 27, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc.
(Nasdaq:NDAQ) introduced the Wilder NASDAQ OMX Global Energy Efficient Transport
Index(sm) (Nasdaq:HAUL). The Index is a modified equal weight index designed to
define and track companies internationally that develop and promote innovative,
energy efficient modes of transportation and stand to benefit from a transition
towards more energy efficient transportation.
The Wilder NASDAQ OMX Global Energy Efficient Transport Index is the latest in a
series of international indexes launched by NASDAQ OMX Global Financial Products
(NGP) and is a continuation of NASDAQ OMX's commitment to designing and
calculating world-class indexes.

investors with a benchmark to track the performance of companies engaged in the
promotion and development of energy-efficient transportation technologies that

The Wilder NASDAQ OMX Global Energy Efficient Transport Index is calculated in
real-time across the combined exchanges and is disseminated in dollars. The
index began calculating on August 25, 2008 with a value of 250.00. The Index is
currently comprised of 40 components with an approximate market capitalization
of $390 billion. Components must meet certain quantitative requirements designed
to assure that financial products linked to the Index will be fully investable.
