Overseas Press Club Has a New Board of Governors

NEW YORK, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Overseas Press Club of
America has elected a new board of governors with Allan Dodds Frank of
Bloomberg News as the 40th President of the Club. Frank stated that "In this
challenging environment for journalists, the OPC will continue to strive to
protect and promote the highest standards of journalism. The newly elected
board also wants to thank a consortium of foundations, Ford, Knight, McCormick
and Ethics and Excellence in Journalism, for the Challenge Grant of $25,000 to
help us support the mission of the club which, since its founding in 1939, has
been steadfastly committed to upholding the principles of the profession and
saluting its greatest practitioners."
