Single-Step Access to Data Relationships without Searching and
Navigation
BERKELEY, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
DataSea, Inc. announces the release of its first commercial
product, "DataFusion," a productivity add-in for Salesforce.com.
DataFusion brings the power of DataSea's proprietary inferencing
technology to the world's largest hosted Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) application.

DataFusion gives Salesforce.com users the ability to see the
relationships among their data in a single step, without navigating
through tabs and objects or drilling down through detail pages. The
interface is a single input box into which queries and commands are
entered, and the output is presented as a unified table showing all
information related to the input. For example, users can find all
contacts in a particular city, or find solutions to a particular case
based on its description, along with all related information.
DataFusion's one-step interface can also send email, make phone calls,
map addresses, and provide bird's-eye mini-reports without opening a
separate application.

DataSea's Inferencing Engine fuses data sources into a unified
neural-like, self-organizing network, then uses human-like reasoning
coupled with a language parser to interpret the meaning and context of
natural language input. Not only can it find related information
across multiple sources in one step, but it can execute commands and
assimilate new information into the network, behaving much like a
human brain.

"With the information fused together, and with being able to just
ask for what we want with simple commands, anyone can dive deeply into
the data with almost no training," says Dr. Rocky Nevin, co-founder of
DataSea and inventor of its revolutionary architecture. "Features
planned for future release can do complicated things, like correlate
data from different sources, timeline it, and pull out complex
relationships."

The technology is so broadly applicable, the team at DataSea had a
difficult time finding the right application for its first commercial
venture. For DataFusion, DataSea took a small part of its technology's
capabilities and customized it for Salesforce.com's interface.
Salesforce.com's open API and broad user base consisting of over 1.1
million subscribers offered the perfect combination of technological
platform and ready-made sales channel to introduce DataSea's
technology to the marketplace. After passing a rigorous partner
certification process, DataSea was given the official stamp of
approval by Salesforce.com to be an AppExchange Partner.

DataFusion's free beta version is now available through
Salesforce.com's AppExchange. Following the beta period, the
application will be offered at $10 per user per month, with a 15-day
free trial. More information can be found at DataSea's website at
