Thirty militants said killed in clash in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD Aug 27 (Reuters) - Thirty militants including some foreigners were killed on Wednesday in fighting with Pakistani forces in the northwestern region of Bajaur, on the Afghan border, a military official said.

"Our troops carried out an operation this morning and we have reports that 30 militants, including some Uzbeks, were killed," said a military official who declined to be identified. (Editing by Robert Birsel)
