Maersk oil posts H1 net profits of $70.79 million

COPENHAGEN Aug 27 (Reuters) - Danish shipping and oil group A.P. Moller-Maersk (MAERSKb.CO) said on Wednesday its container shipping division and related activities posted half-year net profits of 359 million Danish crowns ($70.79 million).
The conglomerate's tanker and offshore activities reported profits of 3.3 billion crowns, while its oil and gas division reported a net profit of 6.5 billion. (Reporting by Rasmus Nord Jorgensen; editing by Sue Thomas)
