FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 2, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aventura Holdings,
Inc.'s (OTCBB:AVNT) wholly owned subsidiary Video Stream, Inc. announces the
release of its portal to compliment its 64 channel IP streaming server,
supporting highly scalable high quality enterprise video surveillance
applications. It seems the time is ripe to unite enterprise video surveillance,
the Internet and private networks.

Cost effective remote viewing, safe storage and management of video surveillance
data is now a reality using either a proprietary or open version of the H.264
protocol. Decreased IP transportation and storage costs, combined with added
redundancy present a superior alternative to on-site solutions.

Banking, corporate, educational, gaming, government, healthcare, law
enforcement, manufacturing, retail, traffic monitoring and transportation
entities recognize the need for an enterprise video surveillance content
delivery network. Video Stream can deliver. We have a distinct advantage over
legacy systems since we use proprietary encoding techniques and the latest H.264
compression technologies. Our portal provides high quality live and recorded
viewing and redundant storage. Competitors typically employ legacy technologies
that consume exorbitant bandwidth, hard drive space and consequently cannot be
effective.

Video Stream makes it simple. Our IP streaming server sends up to 64 video feeds
(with a single Ethernet connection) to a network video recorder (NVR) on our
off-site portal. The portal operates on a shared relational database that can be
configured remotely to adjust parameters such as brightness, contrast, frame
rates, IP configurations and can optionally store those settings. The Video
Stream Enterprise Video Surveillance Portal is scalable and designed to work in
enterprise environments.

"Gerald Sliz, President and Chief Technology Officer of Video Stream continues
to deliver," says Craig Waltzer, Chief Executive Officer of Aventura. "The next
piece of this puzzle is to partner with server farms and bandwidth providers,"
says Gerald Sliz. Video Stream's scalable enterprise solution converts existing
analog multi-camera security systems into the IP world and adds the ability to
manage and store the video safely.
