IMAX(R) Industry Executive Luc Blouin Joins Company as VP, Film Development &
Partnerships

LOS ANGELES and LONDON, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- 3D Entertainment, a
leading company focusing on the production and distribution of high quality
documentary films for IMAX(R) Theatres and Digital 3D cinemas, announces today
the addition of a new key executive to its team in the newly created position
of Vice President, Film Development and Partnerships. Effective Sept. 1st, Luc
Blouin is now responsible for developing strategic business partnerships
and sponsorship opportunities for current and future film projects. He remains
based in Canada and reports directly to Francois Mantello, 3D Entertainment's
Chairman.

3D Entertainment is currently in post-production on its first
feature-length film, "OCEANS 3D: Voyage of a Turtle" (85 minutes), slated for
release at Digital 3D cinemas in 2009. The company also announced earlier this
year that it had begun actively developing a new 42-minute film about sea
turtles that is scheduled to hit IMAX(R) 3D theatres in spring 2010.
Blouin brings significant business development and sales expertise to his
new role. His most recent position was with Canada's Sky High Entertainment,
where he acted as VP Film Sales & Marketing and was an associate producer on
the documentary films "Vikings" (2004) and "Dinosaurs 3D: Giants of Patagonia"
(2007). He began his career in the early Nineties in the business development
and sales sectors at pharmaceutical companies Biogen Canada Ltd., Schering
Canada Inc. and Leo Laboratories Canada Ltd.
3D Entertainment Distribution's portfolio of films includes the IMAX(R)
theatre releases "Ocean Wonderland" (2003), "Sharks 3D" (2005) and "Dolphins
and Whales 3D" (2008) narrated by actress and environmentalist Daryl Hannah.
The first two titles have grossed over $56 million theatrically and continue
to play in the US, while the newly released "Dolphins and Whales 3D"
has already generated $8.5 million in gross receipts in its first six months.
