RemindMyPet.com Announces Presidential Candidates Look-Alike Survey
GREENSBORO, N.C., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- RemindMyPet.com, a free online
service dedicated to the health and well-being of our nation's dogs and cats,
announces the RemindMyPet.com Presidential Candidates Look-Alike Survey which
invites Americans to vote for the dog and cat breeds that most resemble
presidential-hopefuls, John McCain and Barack Obama.
RemindMyPet.com wants to remind all Americans to get out and vote ... and
have a good time doing it.
"We thought this would be a fun way to remind people to vote in November
while also promoting responsible pet ownership," says Dr. Jan Strother, a
veterinarian and hospital director, and owner of eleven cats, two dogs, two
horses and a donkey. "Perhaps this survey will add a new dimension to the
election and help keep voting top of mind," she adds with a smile.
There are now over 153 million dogs and cats in this country and pet
ownership is at the highest level ever recorded, with a dog and/or cat
belonging to over 71 million U.S. households. But you don't have to be a pet
owner to vote in this election. The interactive survey, available at the home
page at www.RemindMyPet.com from September 2nd through September 12th, will be
open to anyone (not just registered users).
In the quick survey, voters will view photos of various breeds of dogs and
cats and will simply click on the ones they believe look most like McCain and
Obama, the presidential candidates for the Republican and Democratic parties.
The survey literally requires only a minute of time-just four clicks of the
mouse.
Survey results will be tallied and the four winners (a dog and cat look-
alike for each candidate) will be announced nationally on September 24th.
