PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Islam and the men leading it
into the 21st century are studied in "Fear God and the Shadow of the Muslim
Sword" (published by AuthorHouse -- http://www.authorhouse.com).
Mr. Pat has written a book that feeds that intense hunger for knowledge of
the Islamic world that could not be found in the days following 9/11. It is a
rational explanation based on historical fact and books written by modern
Islamic scholars, who claim to put forth the truth of a "peaceful but
misunderstood religion." "Fear God and the Shadow of the Muslim Sword" takes
a different approach, and demonstrates that Islamic authors sympathetic to the
Prophet Muhammad mask the true nature of Islam behind the cloak of Abraham.
Mr. Pat exposes the brutal side of Islam, but also the brutality of the
Christians during the Crusades and European colonization, showing that it was
not a one-sided war. He exposes the truth about the realignment of the
civilizations of the People of the Book in the Middle East, which took place
between the 7th Century and the end of the 20th Century.
"Fear God and the Shadow of the Muslim Sword" exposes the reality of a
life that brutalizes women, and applies punishments for crimes the civilized
world left behind with the passing of the Middle Ages. Honor killings of
young women by family members are widespread throughout the Islamic world and
have found their way to the Muslim communities in the secular societies of
Europe and America. By dealing with unchangeable Islamic law, that even today
says that rape is not a crime but demands death by stoning for the crime of
adultery and allows marriages of middle-aged men to girls as young as eight or
nine, the flawed fabric of Islam and those leading it are exposed. "Fear God
and the Shadow of the Muslim Sword" is a product of our times; it is a book
that needed to be written.
Mr. Pat was born on April 15, 1942. His Middle East experience started in
Egypt in 1986. From then until 1991 he traveled extensively throughout the
Middle East and Africa working for U.S. companies on American projects in
joint venture with foreign Muslim-owned companies. During that time, Mr. Pat
gained insight into the Muslim, Arab mindset as well as a vast degree of
experience in the geographic and political makeup of the Middle East and
Africa.
Mr. Pat's travels ended at a remote border crossing in Botswana, Africa
after an infraction that would go unnoticed in the States and an argument with
a border guard. Botswana authorities threw him in prison, but later released
and deported him. He now resides in a small community on the coast of
Florida.
