Canadian telecommunications service provider gets new technology
to bring TELUS TV into more homes

chipsets for triple play IPTV over existing wiring, today announced
that TELUS has selected CopperGate's HomePNA 3.1 technology integrated
into set-top boxes and residential gateways for its TELUS TV service

CopperGate's chipsets provide a complete HomePNA 3.1 home
networking solution that operates over both coax cables and phone
wires. CopperGate chipsets are the first to comply with the ITU G.9954
(HomePNA 3.1) home networking standard and feature guaranteed
parameter-based service levels and powerful remote management and
diagnostics capabilities. HomePNA 3.1 technology is being deployed
today by AT&T and other major telecommunication companies worldwide.
