URS Selected to Provide Design, Procurement and Construction Services for Texas Waste Disposal Facilities

Contract Has Maximum Value of $80 Million to URS
SAN FRANCISCO--(Business Wire)--
URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced that the Company has
been awarded a contract by Waste Control Specialists LLC for the
design, engineering, procurement and construction management of waste
disposal facilities and infrastructure improvements in Andrews County,
Texas. The three-year contract has a maximum value of $80 million to
URS.

Under the terms of the contract, URS will design, engineer,
procure and manage the construction of new facilities and
infrastructure improvements, including the addition of a rail loop and
rail tipper/dumper to allow for the unloading of waste materials from
trains, construction of a waste byproduct landfill and a low-level
radioactive waste disposal facility.
