announced the launch of a new three-part Webinar series titled, "ATCA vs.
Carrier Grade Rack Mount Servers - Making the Right Choice." The first session
is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 2 p.m. EDT, and will feature
Jeff Hudgins, vice president of marketing, NEI. Jeff will open the series with
a features and benefits analysis of both ATCA and Carrier Grade Rack Mount
Server architectures.
In today's market, both ATCA and Carrier Grade Rack Mount Servers are
viable applications solutions for carriers, service providers and telecom
equipment manufacturers, yet crafting a deployment strategy with either option
can be a complex decision. The Webinar series will discuss how the move to
open-standards platforms for high performance applications has affected
application deployment in the telecommunications space and will offer
participants insight into choosing the right application deployment strategy.
