Excellent Networking Opportunity for Christians in Business

BALTIMORE, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Christian Professional
Network (CPN) will host its second annual one-day Christian Business Seminar
at the Towson Sheraton on Thursday, October 30, 2008. Dr. Woodrow Kroll,
renowned Bible teacher and president of Back To The Bible, will present the
keynote address. This year's theme will be "Achieving Business Excellence --
Professional Distinction as a Spiritual Testimony."
This year's event will focus on business education in various disciplines
ranging from commercial real estate to legal, technical, and financial trends
which impact the business community. There will be breakout sessions that
will address an even wider spectrum of business challenges including, for the
first time, a track for non-profit organizations. All tracks will emphasize
Biblical principles in the modern commercial world.
Tom Schetelich, President and Co-founder of the Christian Professional
Network, says, "We believe that, for a Christian in business, your work is
more than a livelihood. It's a spiritual witness -- the daily pursuit of
excellence in Jesus Christ."
2007 was the inaugural year for the CPN's annual conference. Attendees
attest that it was a huge success ... even a breakthrough. Some of the
testimonies include the following:
"The subjects were well chosen, and the presentations terrific."

"This is what I needed. I look forward to the next one and I am going to
                                bring others."

"Great speakers, sessions, and organization ... a very good networking
                                environment."

The Christian Professional Network was formed and incorporated in
Baltimore in February 1994, as a service to Christian businesses,
professionals, and ministries. The goal was to provide a framework for
practical help for businesses and ministries, by integrating sound business
principles with Christian faith and Biblical values. The CPN works across
denominational lines, to seek a unified testimony to Jesus Christ in the
business community. The CPN also serves ministries and churches by addressing
current issues in "the business of ministry."
Since 1994, the CPN has sponsored over thirty business seminars, offering
programs and workshops on necessary business tools required in today's
economy.
There are sponsorships and exhibitor tables available for this year's
conference. For more information visit the website at
