DALLAS, TX, Sep 02 (MARKET WIRE) --
NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: NMKTE) today announced signing a
contract with CEMEC Construcoes Eletromecanicas S.A., a major
manufacturer of power transformers in Brazil (http://www.cemec.com.br).
NewMarket's Brazilian subsidiary UniOne will supply CEMEC with ten Oracle
Standard Edition One Database licenses and consulting services.
NewMarket's operations in Latin America are leading Microsoft and Oracle
partners in the region and have seen substantial growth from these
partnerships over the past year. For the first half of 2008, NewMarket's
Latin American operations have accounted for approximately $12.6 million
in revenue YTD with $528,600 in net income, supporting the Company's
global goal of $120 million in profitable revenue for 2008. In 2007,
NewMarket reported $93.1 million in revenue with $7.3 million in net
