Graebel, Exclusive Mover to United Nations and Many Fortune 500 Clients Leads
to Strategic Decision

AURORA, Colo., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- William Graebel, CEO of the Graebel
Companies, Inc., announced today that the organization opened a Graebel EMEA
center in Prague, Czech Republic. Staffed with international relocation
veterans, the Graebel EMEA center will be the move management and global
supplier management hub immediately for the Company's globally active clients'
household goods moving services in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa region.
The Graebel EMEA center is located in the Regus Burzovni Palac, a modern
A-class building in Prague's historic Stock Exchange area. Conveniently
located, the Center is a 30-minute drive to the international airport.
Amenities for Graebel clients and staff include parking, modern conference
rooms, and an elegant reception area.
According to William Graebel, "Our executive staff considered fifty sites,
and chose Prague for its experienced and multi-lingual relocation staffing
pool. Prague is a world-class city strategically located eight time zones
ahead of our World Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, making it an ideal
location, too.
The Graebel CEO continued, "As the exclusive mover for the United Nations,
and leading globally active organizations, Graebel manages relocation services
for literally thousands of families relocating to and from major cities like
London, and Geneva, to remote and emerging regions around the globe, as well
as to war torn countries like Sudan and Afghanistan. With the vast majority
and critical move consultation occurring just prior to the physical move, and
during the packing stage, it was strategic to staff a dedicated and
experienced customer service staff in the same time zone as our clients'
transferees."
"Because no single EMEA mover has the ability to self-pack and haul
shipments in the EMEA region, our Prague office will employ the Graebel proven
global supply chain Move Management(R) solution. This award-winning real-time
solution created by moving service experts over a decade ago matches every
shipment by geography and with movers' capabilities and with recent
performance. After each supplier is chosen Graebel tracks and audits the
entire moving process including a supplier's documentation accuracy and
completeness for quality assurance. "
"As a TRACE anti-bribery member, opening a Graebel office in Prague is
strong evidence of our commitment and compliance to source competitive
supplier bids and best in practice audit services. Earlier this year, several
other major Euro-movers were fined 32.7 million Euros by the European
Commission for price fixing. Our Graebel EMEA center will be a buffer or
protective layer at once from unethical business practices for our clientele.
Graebel has a zero-tolerance for unethical practices, "stated Jim Petzel,
Managing Director of Graebel Movers International, Inc., a division of the
Graebel Companies.
Petzel shared, "With rapidly growing move volumes in the EMEA region, our
Prague center will monitor compliance to C-TPAT requirements; will evaluate
and track suppliers' warehousing standards to insure shipment security and
protection, and will ensure the Graebel Movers' International quality
standards and requirements to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, and to the Federation
International des Demenageurs Internationaux (FIDI) FAIM guidelines are
safeguarded. "
