CIGNA Offers Assistance in Louisiana to people Impacted by Hurricane Gustav

PHILADELPHIA--(Business Wire)-- CIGNA (NYSE:CI) announced today that it is temporarily lifting certain medical and pharmacy restrictions in order to aid Louisiana individuals impacted by Hurricane Gustav. People insured by CIGNA throughout the state of Louisiana can refill prescriptions early without prior approval and access care at any provider (in-network or out-of-network) at in-network rates. In addition, CIGNA is waiving authorizations for hospital admissions, emergency medical and dental care as well access to needed specialists without receiving prior approvals.
