LAFAYETTE, CA, Sep 02 (MARKET WIRE) --
Keiretsu Forum, the world's largest angel investment community, and Intel
Capital, Intel Corporation's global investment organization, will hold an
educational symposium titled "Funding Alternatives" on Tuesday, September
30 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Intel Corporation headquarters located
in Santa Clara, California.
The symposium will help entrepreneurs in the software and web 2.0 space
better understand angel investing and the advantages that Keiretsu Forum
members and investment organizations bring to their funded companies.
Speakers will discuss funding alternatives including angel investing,
angel investor network Keiretsu Forum, and investing organizations such
as Intel Capital. In addition, two companies in the software and web 2.0
industries that received funding from Keiretsu Forum members and Intel
Capital will present their personal experience with raising funds.
"The purpose of this symposium is to reach out to CEOs in Silicon Valley
so they can better understand the funding alternatives and options
available to them," said David Dembitz, Keiretsu Forum Silicon Valley
member. "We look forward to discussing with attendees what resources
beyond capital we typically provide to help them go to market and be
successful."
"This is a great opportunity to bring together the entrepreneur and
investment communities," said Robert Rueckert, director of Intel Capital
focusing on business Internet and web 2.0 investments. "Intel Capital
places great emphasis on fostering entrepreneurship and technology
innovation. We are excited to be hosting the symposium on funding
alternatives at our Santa Clara headquarters and we look forward to a
productive dialogue with entrepreneurs in attendance."
