Honda August U.S. auto sales fall 7.3 percent

DETROIT (Reuters) - Honda Motor Co Ltd said on Wednesday that U.S. auto sales fell 7.3 percent to 146,855 units in August.

Honda brand car sales fell 4.9 percent to 78,674 vehicles in August, while Honda brand light truck sales fell 10.3 percent to 53,092 vehicles. Sales in its luxury Acura division fell 8.2 percent to 15,089 vehicles.
