The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) will
welcome New York Democratic Sen. Hillary Clinton to their national convention
in Lake Buena Vista, FL, on September 8, 2008, at 2 pm.

Media is invited to attend.

The former presidential candidate will address more than 2,600 IAM delegates
and guests at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, 1000 West Buena Vista Dr.,
Lake Buena Vista, FL.

The Machinists Union was the first major union to endorse Sen. Clinton in
August, 2007, and were among her strongest supporters throughout the primary
season. This week, IAM delegates are expected to consider a presidential
endorsement for the general election.

"Hillary Clinton earned the IAM's initial endorsement by focusing on jobs,
health care, education and trade -- the bread and butter issues of the
American middle class," said IAM International President Tom Buffenbarger. "We
deeply appreciate the effort she made on behalf of our members and the
millions of Americans who remain invisible to the current administration."

The IAM is among the nation's largest industrial trade unions, representing
over 700,000 active and retired members in airline, aerospace, manufacturing,
railroad, woodworking and shipbuilding industries. For more information, go to
