LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Sept. 5, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Retro Television Network
(RTN) announced today that WMAK-Knoxville, Channel 7, plans to add RTN
programming to its lineup beginning Monday.
"We are excited to add RTN programming to our WMAK line-up," said David
Williams, General Manager of WMAK. "I am typically the person who takes
programming calls from viewers and the number one request in this market is for
the type of programming that RTN provides. RTN's family-friendly, retro, fun
programming will certainly be a hit with our East Tennessee viewers."
"RTN will soon be entertaining local audiences with hit shows all day and
classic talk late night," said Mark Dvornik, Executive Vice President of RTN.
"Viewers will also be able to enjoy over two hours of live talk in the evening
Monday through Friday."
RTN is the first completely customizable, national television network to provide
a 24/7 digital feed of hit shows to each of its affiliates. The network's unique
design allows each affiliate to remain in complete control while RTN runs the
local and national master control from its central hub. RTN also offers
customizable news and weather for each market, hosted by network-provided
talent.
