Entergy Utilities Schedule Media Conference Call on State of Hurricane Gustav
Restoration

BATON ROUGE, La. -- In response to the extensive damage caused by
Hurricane Gustav, Entergy Louisiana, LLC, Entergy Gulf States Louisiana,
L.L.C. and Entergy New Orleans, Inc. will hold a conference call for all media
at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, to provide an update on restoration efforts
in Louisiana.
Renae Conley, president and CEO of Entergy Louisiana and Entergy Gulf
States Louisiana; Rod West, president and CEO of Entergy New Orleans, Inc.;
Dennis Dawsey, Entergy's vice president of distribution operations for
Louisiana; and Randy Helmick, vice president of transmission, will be
available to answer questions regarding status of efforts to restore power to
customers affected by Gustav.
