UBS (UBSN.VX)
Swiss bank UBS, rocked by more than $44 billion in credit write-downs during the past year, said on Thursday it hired a top Goldman Sachs Group Inc (GS.N) executive as its new global head of fixed income, currencies and commodities trading.

Swiss speciality chemicals company Clariant has named Hariolf Kottmann as new chief executive, effective Oct 1, 2008, replacing Jan Secher.
