SOCHI, Russia, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that any fluctuations in the Russian stock market were not due to Moscow's brief war in Georgia but because of the global credit crunch.

"We are part of the global economy and these (movements) relate to the world economy," Putin told a group of reporters.

He added: "Some movements of the rouble are not critical."
