Lions Gate in deal with mobile company Zed

LOS ANGELES, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Film studio Lions Gate Entertainment Corp (LGF.N) on Thursday said it reached a deal with Spain-based Zed Group to co-develop mobile entertainment projects, based on Lions Gate films, TV shows and music and newly created projects.

Terms were not disclosed, but Lions Gate said the deal enables it to leverage content across Zed's global network of mobile operators and also create new revenue streams and creative opportunities.

Zed develops and markets entertainment and services through a network of 130 mobile operators, reaching over 50 global territories and 2 billion mobile subscribers. (Reporting by Sue Zeidler; Editing by Gary Hill)
