- Bulgarian right-wing opposition say they have collected more than one million signatures of people seeking the resignation of the Socialist-led government (Dnevnik, Monitor).

- Sofia municipality may borrow 105 million euros ($153.9 million) from the European Investment Bank to complete construction of the capital's underground and buy trains (Dnevnik, Pari).

- State gas monopoly Bulgargaz has said it will postpone by two days a planned cut in gas supplies to heating utilities in Burgas and Vratsa over unpaid debts (Trud, Sega, Monitor).
