Unique Program Offers Multiple Options for Accumulation and Redemption of Points HOUSTON--(Business Wire)-- Chevron Global Aviation today launched a rewards program unlike any other in the business and general aviation markets. The new FlyBuys(TM) reward program (www.FlyBuysRewardsProgram.com) targets business and general aviation pilots as well as business aviation flight departments. FlyBuys participants - individuals or organizations - will be able to earn points based on purchases of jet fuel and aviation gasoline at participating Chevron and Texaco FBOs around the country. Extra points can be earned if the FlyBuys card is used in conjunction with a Chevron Alliance Program card. Once accumulated, FlyBuys points can be redeemed for Chevron or Texaco gift cards or universal gift certificates at www.giftcertificates.com. "Unlike traditional reward programs in the business and general aviation markets, FlyBuys will offer participants a much greater level of flexibility--both in who can participate and what reward-types are available," said Bob Taylor, manager, Branded Programs, Chevron Global Aviation. "Business jet operators can now use the points as they see fit. This program is unique in that participating members can be either individuals such as pilots or flight crew members, or flight departments, where points can be pooled and managed across the organization. That's quite a departure from traditional programs. And, rather than having a limited number of redemption options, FlyBuys points can be converted to gift certificates that can be used at major retailers across the country. Points can also be converted into Chevron or Texaco gift cards which can be used to purchase fuel, snacks or services at over 10,000 Chevron or Texaco branded stations in the United States. Whether you are a pilot or a business aviation organization FlyBuys is a very attractive offer and just another way for us to say thank you to our loyal customers." Chevron will begin signing up of pilots and flight departments at this year's National Business Aviation Association's (NBAA) conference which will be held in Orlando, Florida from October 6 to 8. The program is free to participants. Those that sign up during NBAA will receive 2,000 points - enough for a $25 Chevron or Texaco gift card - after the first use of their FlyBuys card. Individuals and organizations interested in participating in the FlyBuys Reward program are encouraged to stop by Chevron's booth (# 1200) during the show. For more information on the FlyBuys program, or to register, go to www.FlyBuysRewardsProgram.com. Once registered, participants will be able to view and manage their account online. Participants will be able to start accumulating points beginning January 1, 2009 at participating FBOs. The Alliance program streamlines all related aviation purchases and services at more than 750 Chevron and Texaco FBOs, and offers dedicated support from our Alliance representatives.
