TOKYO Oct 8 (Reuters) - Japan's Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) is considering cutting its annual earnings forecasts due to sluggish demand in industrialised nations, slowing sales in emerging markets and a firmer yen, a company source said on Wednesday.

The Nikkei business daily said earlier that Toyota would likely post a 40 percent slide in annual profit, missing its profit estimates on weak sales in North America and slower growth in China. (Reporting by Nobuhiro Kubo)
