NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
ProcureStaff, a leading services procurement organization, is
pleased to announce that two of its executives are among the finalists
for the 2008 Women's Business Awards. Co-founder and Executive Vice
President Janet Whitcomb is a finalist in the Lifetime Achievement
category for her decades of leadership, innovation and impact on the
field of human capital supply chain management. Julie Smith, Head of
ProcureStaff Managed Services Programs in EMEA, is a finalist in the
category of "Best Executive EMEA." Both Ms. Whitcomb and Ms. Smith
were also named "Pros to Know" by Supply and Demand Chain Executive
magazine (Smith for 2008 and Whitcomb for 2007).

Larry Kaylor, President of ProcureStaff, said, "Janet's
contribution to the development of the industry's first Vendor
Management System (VMS) application in the 1990s is indicative of her
foresight and dedication to the field of human capital supply chain
procurement and certainly qualifies her for a lifetime achievement
award. The work she has done subsequently has helped propel
ProcureStaff and the entire services procurement industry well into
the 21st Century." Kaylor also lauded Ms. Smith's accomplishment,
saying, "Julie's contributions in Europe, Middle East and Africa
reflect the breadth of her experience in managing global programs
across vast geographies and in numerous cultural and legislative
environments."

Winners will be announced at the awards presentation dinner
November 14, 2008 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The latest
recognition for Stevie Awards, as American, International and Women's
Business Awards statuettes are referred to, represents the third such
recognition for ProcureStaff in 2008. The company was recognized with
finalist designations by both the American Business Awards and the
International Business Awards in the "Most Innovative Company"
category earlier in the year.
