Gourmetceuticals Announces Licensing Agreement With Curamedics to Develop
Functional Foods for the Human and Veterinary Markets

BIG HORN, Wyo. and SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ --
Gourmetceuticals, LLC, a company that markets organically derived and
scientifically validated ingredients, today announced the company's
collaboration with specialty pharmaceuticals company, Curamedics
Pharmaceuticals, Inc. The alliance institutes the first collaboration between
the two companies to co-develop functional food products for the human and
veterinary markets, with royalties paid to Gourmetceuticals upon the sale of
products.

high quality ingredients in products that consumers can easily fit into their

Terms of the deal include utilizing both of Gourmetceuticals' ingredients,
PPL-240(TM), an antioxidant with photoprotective properties, and GLPH-1(TM),
an immune booster. The companies will co-develop a beverage, candy and
chewable wafers for the human market as well as animal treats for the canine
and equine markets. Products are expected to launch nationally in 2009.
