CV Therapeutics to Announce 2008 Third Quarter Financial Results on Thursday,
November 6, 2008

PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CV Therapeutics, Inc.
(Nasdaq: CVTX) today announced that it will release third quarter financial
results for 2008 after the market closes on Thursday, November 6, 2008.
