Geo-Specific Filtering Maximizes Reach While Accommodating
                         Consumer Preferences
SEATTLE--(Business Wire)--
Varolii Corporation has launched the nation's first multi-stage
phone call filtering service for automated communications, enabling
organizations to maximize consumer reach while selectively identifying
and preventing calls within a particular geographic area--either all
calls or just those going to a mobile phone. Using Varolii call
filtering, organizations can comply with customer contact preferences
and adhere to regulatory requirements without losing the ability to
communicate with the majority of their customers, many of whom prefer
to be contacted by mobile phone.

Mobile phone usage has nearly reached the saturation point in the
United States, and more consumers are opting to "cut the cord" -
replacing landlines with mobile phones, or choosing to avoid landlines
altogether. According to independent research firm Forrester, "Today,
mobile penetration has reached 81% of U.S. households, and 12% of them
eschew a traditional home phone." ("Cord-Cutting Continues Unabated,"
Forrester Research, Inc., May 2008). This growing trend toward mobile
phone exclusivity makes it an increasingly important channel for
customer communication.

Varolii call filtering service is already available via
Interact(TM) - Varolii's award-winning, on-demand customer
communications platform. It can be fully configured and activated
quickly, with no third-party data-scrubbing contract or technology
integration required. While other data-scrubbing services typically
use a single filter, Varolii employs multiple filters and data sources
to identify and prevent calls to either all numbers by discrete
location or just mobile ones, including landline numbers that have
been ported to wireless service. It can also help organizations gain
their customers' explicit consent to receive automated calls on mobile
phones, via a simple application that can be added to an existing call
strategy.

"Varolii provides the greatest ability to cut through the 'noise'
and get urgent notifications to the people who need them," said
Jeffrey Read, executive vice president of Field Operations for
Varolii. "Only Varolii strikes the right balance between adhering to
stringent service commitments to get the notification out on time and
providing unmatched flexibility in how and where to filter automated
calls."
