BROOMFIELD, CO, Oct 23 (MARKET WIRE) --
What are you in the mood for? How often do we ask that question
especially at meal time? And aren't you tired of eating the same thing
week after week? Noodles & Company has a solution that will get you in
touch with your 'food mood.'
The globally-inspired noodle restaurant has introduced its Moodle Meter,
available online or at its nearly 200 local restaurants. Simply put your
hand on the Moodle Meter and it will analyze your mood and automatically
tell you if you should try Noodles & Company's Asian, Mediterranean or
American dishes.
"We know our guests are looking for variety, and our Moodle Meter is a fun
and easy way to encourage them to try new things on our menu," said Ross
Kamens, Noodles & Company's executive chef. "For example, if you register
green or are feeling adventurous and spirited, we'll recommend an Asian
dish. If you aren't completely satisfied with your dish for any reason,
we'll make you something new guaranteed so everyone should feel
comfortable experimenting."
As part of its Moodle campaign, Noodles & Company will be selling mood
rings in its restaurants for $1.25, and 50 cents from every ring sold will
benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The company plans to make a minimum
donation of $50,000.
"We're thrilled to be partnering with Noodles & Company restaurants," said
David Williams, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America president and chief
executive officer. "The money raised from the sale of rings will help
brighten the mood of children with life-threatening medical conditions by
granting their wishes."
Noodles & Company is a tip-free zone and is open seven days a week in
nearly 200 locations in 18 states. To view a menu, find a location or see
