Aon Consulting Names Mark Arian as Corporate Transactions Practice Leader

Practice to help clients during organizational transformations

CHICAGO, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aon Consulting, the global
human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC),
announced today that Mark Arian has joined the firm as executive vice
president and leader of the Aon Consulting Corporate Transactions group,
focusing on mergers and acquisitions.

    Arian and his team will be responsible for helping clients shape
strategies in the areas of organization, benefits and talent, as employers
work through restructuring, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Arian
brings more than 20 years of experience in helping clients focus on human
capital issues arising from transformations.  He joins Aon from Towers Perrin
where he was the global change management leader and practice leader for
Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring. Prior to Towers Perrin, he built and
led Hewitt Associates' Corporate Restructuring and Change business.

    Arian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University, and he is a
graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business Executive
Education Program. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the Columbia University
School of Law and is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and the
District of Columbia.
    Arian joined Aon Consulting on Oct. 23, and is based in New York City.  He
reports to Hayley.
