"It's design is perfectly adapted to mobile user's needs and can stand as
a model for intuitive mobile website development," said Lars Hartkopf,
Netbiscuits' head of marketing. "We had a lot of great entries and the
decision was very difficult. It's exciting to see so many developers
discovering how easy it is to develop rich mobile content with Netbiscuits'
platform."
Months prior to Yankee Group's Mobile Internet World, Netbiscuits and
Yankee Group offered developers the opportunity to build the mobile content
they had always dreamed of, utilizing Netbiscuits' development platform, for
an opportunity to showcase their mobile web vision while at the same time
demonstrating to developers and consumers how easy their vision can be
accomplished with the right tools. Many contestants answered the call and
submitted mobile websites, portals, communities, games, video channels and
landing pages to win tens of thousands of dollars worth of prizes.
Submissions were judged on aesthetic and technical design, content,
fluidity and execution. Winners will receive free access to Netbiscuits'
professional developer tools and will have free Mobile Web hosting for a
limited amount of time. Additional winners announced at the event included:
