BETHESDA, Md.--(Business Wire)--
BrowserMedia announced today the launch of the new website for the
Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) viewable at
http://www.sia-online.org. Founded in 1977 by five microelectronics
pioneers, SIA unites over 70 companies that account for nearly 90
percent of the semiconductor production of this country.

BrowserMedia began with a content audit of SIA's existing website
and other assets, and based on that audit developed a comprehensive
information architecture revamp for the new website. BrowserMedia then
developed a new visual design for the site that is in keeping with
SIA's brand and existing collateral. The new website is powered by
BrowserCMS, BrowserMedia's web content management system. The site
features a custom ecommerce store using BrowserMedia's BrowserStore
framework, the BrowserCMS photo gallery module, integrated site
search, member-only protected content, and an interactive Flash
timeline developed by BrowserMedia's creative team, which is viewable
at http://www.sia-online.org/cs/about_sia/history
