MyFirstVote.tv Asks Young New Yorkers to Wake Up and Vote!
New Web Channel Concludes Purple State Bus Tour & Visits New York
NEW YORK, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- With new voters possibly determining the
next U.S. President, MyFirstVote.tv, has been traveling through the key
"Purple" (swing) states offering a wake up call to first time voters on
Election Day morning. It's "Wake Up Tour" mobile "bus" will park at several
key New York City locations, inviting young voters to share their observations
on film, as well experience the views and voices of other first time voters
throughout the country.
-- 3pm - 8pm, Saturday October 25 -- MyFirstVote.tv will park its bus and
mobile studio on Sixth Avenue in front of Art Gotham Gallery (between
Spring and Prince), in conjunction with the art show, ELECTION 2008,
where 200 voters (many first-timers) will display their interpretation
of this historical presidential election
-- 10 am - 5pm, Sunday, October 26 -- the MyFirstVote.tv bus will engage
with first time voters at Union Square
-- 6am - noon, Monday, October 27 -- MyFirstVote.tv's bus will be
outside the Time Warner Center, Rockefeller Plaza and other key areas
-- Noon - 7pm -- MyFirstVote.tv will open its bus doors in Times Square
to
first time voters
The creators of the Web Channel, Jeff and Chris Cooney, Jonathan Pillot will
be on the bus with their first time voter volunteers and happy to share
footage and opinions from around the country. With large plasma screens, and
laptops you will also be able register on the site and enter into one of the
many debates.
