Training facility brings teamwork and camaraderie to individual sport

SEATTLE, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Herriott Sports Performance (HSP), a
Seattle-based premier training facility for athletes interested in cycling and
triathlon, presents the HSP Triathlon Club which provides a team-like training
experience for triathletes ranging in ability from beginner to professional.
The HSP Triathlon Club is a program that provides triathletes with coached
group workouts, tailored training at the HSP training center, clinics on
relevant topics, social activities and generous discounts from club sponsors
and partners. Built on the fundamentals of teamwork, the club offers a
cohesive and encouraging training experience rooted in hard work and
camaraderie.
"There are a lot of advantages to group training and the Tri Club is a
solid team that motivates each other to reach the next level in training,"
said HSP owner and founder, Todd Herriott. "Members really benefit from the
club's culture as it offers both community and competition, which you miss
when you train individually."
According to Herriott, the Triathlon Club is open to all skill levels and
is particularly excited to welcome those who are new to the sport. "Joining
the club is a great introduction to triathlon. It's a constructive team
environment that focuses on all aspects of training from physical strength to
mental preparation."
Basic Triathlon Club memberships begin at $75 per month which includes
customized coaching through regularly scheduled, dynamic group workouts,
clinics, workshops and special team events. For $125 per month, Triathlon
Club members also gain access to HSP's training facilities during open hours.
Since it was established earlier this year, the club has steadily grown
and continues to attract new members, which Herriott attributes to the club's
superior coaching and leadership.
Led by USA Triathlon coaches Teresa Nelson and Tracy Robertson, the HSP
Triathlon Club meets regularly to receive professional and custom multisport
coaching.
Nelson is a seven-year triathlon veteran and has been with the Triathlon
Club since she helped form it this year. Robertson, with a Master's degree in
teaching and 11 years of racing experience as an elite athlete, brings both
the professional training and educational tools to inspire Triathlon Club
members to help them reach their goals.
Those interested in joining the club are encouraged to attend a
complimentary new member orientation at HSP for an opportunity to tour the
facility, become familiar with the club structure, meet the staff, and ask any
questions.
