Coldwell Banker King Thompson Foundation Announces $66,500 in Local Charitable Contributions

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(Business Wire)--
The Coldwell Banker King Thompson Foundation is pleased to
announce its local charitable contributions for 2007/2008.
The Foundation fundraising campaign entitled "The Power of Caring"
included fundraising events at local branch offices, metro-wide
events, agent contributions, staff contributions and alliances with
other local businesses in the central Ohio region.
"Despite a lot of negativity in the news, our foundation through
our communities, associates, staff and partners were able to raise the
money for us to be able to donate $66,500 back to some of central
Ohio's most-deserving charities," said Joe King, President and COO of
Coldwell Banker Ohio NRT Companies.
"It is truly an honor and privilege to be able to give back to the
people of central Ohio, and we know that as Martin Luther King said,
'it is always the right time to do the right thing'."
The preferred charitable partners of this campaign time period
included:

Habitat for Humanity, Delaware County
During the 2007 home build and 2007 and 2008 fundraising
period over $45,000 was raised and donated directly to
Habitat for Humanity, a charitable partner of Coldwell
Banker locally and nationally.
Columbus Komen for the Cure
In addition to having a team run/walk in the 2008 spring
event, $5,000 was donated directly and locally to Columbus
Komen for the Cure's mission of education and research in
the area of breast cancer.
Greater Columbus Arts Council
$5,000 was donated to the Greater Columbus Arts Council to be
used to support the education programs, specifically Art in
the House, a fun, safe after-school arts activity program
for children of inner-city schools, community centers, and
Columbus Federation of Settlements locations.
Nationwide Children's Hospital
The hospital received $5,000 to locally support the community
outreach, payment assistance and general need of this
Columbus showcase institution.
Coldwell Banker King Thompson Foundation Community Fund
$6,500 will be divided and granted to each central Ohio
branch of Coldwell Banker King Thompson to support
community-level charities as selected by the office
membership of staff, management and associates.

Check presentations were internally announced at the company's
Fall Passport to Success Sales Rally for all company associates held
at the Fawcett Center on the campus of The Ohio State University on
October 7, and addition presentations will be made locally at charity
events throughout the Fall of 2008.
