Calling All Monsters: Knott's Halloween Haunt Closes the Coffin on its 36th Season with a Monster Reunion

BUENA PARK, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
If you have ever donned monster make-up or mask and gotten a
thrill from scaring the daylights out of thousands of willing victims
at Knott's Halloween Haunt, then you won't want to miss this season's
most ghoulish gathering. On Saturday, November 1, Knott's Scary Farm
is inviting all former Knott's Halloween Haunt monsters to a special
Monster Reunion as they close out the 36th season of the most popular
Halloween event in the world.

Monster alums will have the opportunity to swap stories regarding
their nights as members of Knott's scare squad while enjoying
complimentary appetizers and then be allowed early entrance into the
Halloween Haunt at 6:30 pm prior to the general public admittance at
7:00 pm.

Tickets for this first-ever monster bash are $47.99. Monster
family members are welcome. To purchase tickets visit
knotts.com/monsterreunion.

The original theme park Halloween party, Knott's Halloween Haunt,
debuted on October 31, 1973 with a decorated Ghost Town and a few
dozen live monsters lurking in the fog to scare unsuspecting guests.
The event drew thousands more guests than expected and the following
year it was expanded to cover the full weekend before Halloween.

Knott's Halloween Haunt now runs for 28 nights and includes 13
chilling mazes, 7 hair-raising shows, three horrific scare zones and
1,000 roaming monsters.

Among the six new mazes at this year's Haunt is "Quarantine,"
based on the upcoming Sony Pictures' film set in a sealed off
apartment building where a HazMat team has been deployed to learn the
fate of its residents!

Halloween Haunt--everyone has to go sometime!
