MVV names manager from RWE as chief executive
FRANKFURT |
FRANKFURT Oct 23 (Reuters) - German utility MVV (MVVGn.DE) said it appointed Georg Mueller, a manager at competitor RWE (RWEG.DE), as its chief executive starting in January after its current chief was recruited by another competitor.
MVV said Mueller would replace Rudolf Schulten, who announced on July 30 that he would become finance chief at Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg (EBKG.DE). Mueller is head of an RWE unit in western Germany, RWE Rhein-Ruhr. (Reporting by Peter Dinkloh; Editing by Ted Kerr)
