SK Telecom to buy back, cancel $71 mln in shares

SEOUL Oct 24 (Reuters) - SK Telecom Co (017670.KS), South Korea's top mobile operator, said on Friday it would buy back and cancel 100 billion won ($71.35 million) worth of its shares.

SK Telecom said in a filing with the Korea Exchange it would buy back the shares in the market between Oct. 27 and Jan. 26. ($1=1401.5 Won) (Reporting by Rhee So-eui; Editing by Keiron Henderson)
